5 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park And Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Our company guide will pick you up from your hotel to you transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth is the most popular park in Uganda as it offers diverse ecosystems, classic big game and primate species and over 600 bird species. You will have a lunch break at a preferred stopover before proceeding to the park. On arrival you will head for an evening game drive before checking-in at your accommodation for dinner and the night.

After the morning breakfast at your hotel, you will spend the full day in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will see the Kasenyi plains which are excellent for sighting lion and large herds of Uganda kob. The Mweya peninsula offers excellent game drives with magnificent views across the water to the Rwenzori Mountains. Mweya is one of the best places to look for leopard, which live in the dense, scrubby thickets.

You will then return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will go for Launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. The Channel is home to one of the greatest concentration of hippo in Africa and herds of elephant, buffalo and other animals come to drink at the water’s edge. The channel is a magnet for water birds, with great flocks of pelicans and others birds on the shore, and a great spot to see African fish eagle. Drive back to the lodge for overnight and dinner.

Have breakfast at the lodge and pack your lunch and then proceed to the Ishasha sector. You will conduct another Game drive in this sector with chances of spotting climbing lions resting on sycamore trees and any other wildlife that you may have missed in day 2. After the game drive you will drive for some to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma

This day will start with an early breakfast at your hotel and then set off gorilla trekking. You will go the park offices for briefing by the ranger guides. You will start your gorilla search. Upon coming across gorillas, the trekking starts and it takes an hour.

Depending on the duration of the track you can either relax in the afternoon at the lodge and just enjoy the view or go for another walk around the community and explore the village. You can as well go for Batwa experience if time is available.

After breakfast at your lodge, you will drive back to Kampala through Lake Mburo where you will be able to see wildlife and the famous long horned Ankole domestic cattle. You will then transfer to your hotel in Entebbe or connect to Entebbe International airport for your International flight.
