Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our professional company representative and your driver/guide. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe to relax and unwind after your journey.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park begins. The drive covers approximately 541 km and takes about 8–10 hours by road, passing through beautiful countryside, tea plantations, and traditional villages.

Alternatively, you can choose to travel by air from Kajjansi Airfield or Entebbe Airport to Kihihi, Kayonza, or Kisoro Airstrip (based on your gorilla trekking region and preferred airline).

Arrive at your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Gorilla trekking expedition

After an early breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic transfer to the park headquarters, carrying your packed lunch. Upon arrival, the park rangers will provide a detailed briefing, setting the stage for your gorilla trekking adventure.

The trek can last anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the movements of the gorilla families. When you finally encounter these majestic creatures, you’ll enjoy a full hour observing and photographing them—an experience you’ll never forget.

Following the trek, return to your lodge to relax and unwind. If time allows, you can enhance your day with optional activities, including a community walk, a nature walk, or a visit to the Batwa (pygmy) community, immersing yourself in local culture and traditions.

Enjoy breakfast and begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. En route, you will stop in Mbarara town for lunch and at the Equator line for photography and a brief water experiment.

Arrive in the late afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel or Entebbe Airport for your departure flight.
