Terms & Conditions – Adventure Volunteers

These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in any program, tour, or service offered by Adventure Volunteers (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking or participating, you agree to these Terms.

1. Booking & Payment.

• A deposit may be required to confirm your booking, with the balance due by the specified date.
• Prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations must be made in writing.
• Refund eligibility depends on the time of cancellation and supplier policies.
• Certain fees, permits (e.g., gorilla trekking permits), and deposits may be non-refundable.

3. Travel Documents

• Participants are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and necessary vaccinations.
• We are not responsible for denied entry due to incorrect documentation.

4. Participant Responsibilities

• Follow local laws, customs, and our team’s instructions.
• Maintain respectful behavior toward local communities and fellow participants.
• Inform us of any medical conditions, dietary needs, or mobility concerns before departure.

5. Insurance

• Travel and medical insurance are mandatory for all participants.
• Insurance must cover medical emergencies, evacuation, and trip cancellation.

6. Risks & Liability

• Participation in adventure activities carries inherent risks (e.g., injury, wildlife encounters, and weather conditions).
• You acknowledge these risks and agree to participate at your own risk.
• We are not liable for losses, damages, or injuries beyond our control.

7. Program Changes

• We reserve the right to alter itineraries due to weather, safety, or operational needs.
• Substitutions will be of equal or greater value where possible.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda (or the applicable jurisdiction
