We operate in some of the most stunning and wildlife-rich regions of East Africa, where neighboring national parks attract tourists from around the world. Yet, just beyond these forests, many families survive on less than $1 a day — often without seeing the benefits of tourism in their own communities.

Adventure Volunteers was born to change that.

Our mission is to provide sustainable solutions to poverty by empowering local communities through ethical and impactful adventure tourism.

Adventure Volunteers was founded by passionate local and international professionals who share a love for adventure and a deep commitment to making a difference. Rooted in Uganda and expanding across East Africa, our team brings together tour guides, nurses, teachers, doctors, counselors, accountants, media professionals, business leaders, NGOs, and charitable organizations — all united by a shared goal: to use tourism as a force for good.
